Altus Forensic — a Sacramento-area forensic accounting firm — was losing billable hours to a web timer that nobody enjoyed using. Their staff needed something that disappeared into the OS.
We built Timelog Pro: a Swift menubar app for macOS, an iOS companion that syncs over iCloud, and a Cloudflare Workers backend that brokers BigTime API calls per-staff with their own keys. The macOS app auto-updates via Sparkle; the iOS app ships through TestFlight and the App Store. Time entries push as soon as you stop them.
AI assists with matter classification, surfacing the right billing codes based on activity history and reducing manual lookups. A sync-down loop keeps the local view in lockstep with BigTime. Every billable minute at Altus runs through the app.
