Management native app for in-house TV menus, Clover POS, website, and IT infrastructure for the barrelhouse taproom

Sister location to Moksa Brewing. We built the website, deployed the in-house TV menu boards with a native management app, set up the Clover POS and merchant account end-to-end, and run the IT infrastructure behind the taproom.

1 edit

Updates every screen in the taproom at once — no more chasing boards

0 slides

No PowerPoint, no laptops behind the bar, no out-of-sync menus

End-to-end

Site, signage app, Clover POS, and IT infrastructure all from one team

Before

The tap list changed daily, and every screen in the taproom had to be chased by hand — slide decks re-uploaded mid-shift, boards out of sync, someone always behind the bar fixing PowerPoint instead of pouring beer.

After

One edit in the app and every screen in the room is current. The boards just keep up — no slides, no laptops behind the bar, no out-of-sync menu in the middle of a rush.

Moksa Barrelhouse — Management native app for in-house TV menus, Clover POS, website, and IT infrastructure for the barrelhouse taproom

The work

Moksa Barrelhouse is the sister location to Moksa Brewing — a dedicated barrel-aging facility and taproom that opened in 2022. The engagement covered the systems the operation runs on, day in and day out.

The TV menu boards mounted in the taproom are driven by a native management app we built in-house. Staff update the tap list, pricing, and specials from the app and every screen in the room updates at once — no PowerPoint, no out-of-sync signage, no one re-uploading a slide deck mid-shift.

The Clover POS terminal and underlying merchant account were set up by us end-to-end — hardware, payment processing, tax rates, item catalog, staff training. The barrelhouse and the brewery share an item catalog where it makes sense, so a change in one shows up in both without manual sync work.

Underneath it all sits the website and the IT infrastructure we provision and operate — networking, devices, hosting, and email — so the taproom team can pour beer instead of troubleshooting hardware.
